Stampede Spirit Corporate Program
The Stampede Spirit Program has been designed to recognize businesses and communities that demonstrate and encourage their staff to exhibit western spirit by decorating their premises in western motif and dressing western in celebration of The Calgary Stampede.
In 2010, Calgary Stampede volunteers will be traveling around the city scouting for groups or businesses that have decorated in a western theme. Businesses selected for recognition will receive a plaque thanking them for their participation in continuing the western spirit of the Calgary Stampede.
Does your business or group want to take part in the western spirit but needs a little help on where to begin? It can be as easy as putting a couple of straw bales and a few rough planks in your lobby. Here is a list of suppliers to help you gather what you need.
When you have everything ready please let us know. We want to see the contribution you have made to celebrate the Stampede Spirit through out our community.
Watch for us - we just may show up on your doorstep somewhere between June 24th and July 18th to thank you for your Western team spirit!

GET YOUR HEAD IN A HAT
From July 5 through July 18, Stampede volunteers will be watching for folks wearing cowboy hats around town. If you're spotted wearing a cowboy hat you will instantly win one of 100,000 available prizes ranging from gift certificates, parties, concert and rodeo tickets to two Grand Prizes of "West Jet Trips for Two Anywhere They Fly". Total prizing is valued at over $3.6 Million!
