Every year, we select a number of Alberta rodeos for our Buckle Program. A representitive of the Stampede will be on hand to present a beautiful bronze and nickle Calgary Stampede presentation buckle to the winner of the Novice Bareback or Novice Saddle Bronc event. Each buckle prominantly dispays the name of the participating rodeo and the event.

We focus our attention on events which are considered point of entry for young cowboys joining the sport...and look forward to the day when we might see them compete at the Calgary Stampede.Every year, our committee selects a number of rodeos to participate in this program.
